The Mira HP released by Coherent Inc. is an ultrafast laser oscillator that typically delivers more than 4 W of output power across the Ti:sapphire tuning curve at 800 nm, with strong increases toward the edges at difficult wavelengths. Designed to be pumped by the company’s V18 Verdi laser, the oscillator features a purgeable enclosure, integrated pump steering optics, an open architecture and the Optima suite of onboard diagnostics. An auxiliary continuous-wave cavity facilitates alignment and configuration changes.
