A CDRH-certified stand-alone controller unit for operating and controlling WhisperIT lasers has been announced by Pavilion Integration Corp. Measuring 115 × 50 × 76 mm, the controller allows simple adjustment of the laser output power over the full operating range. It includes an AC/DC power supply, and the AC input can be used on any standard AC voltage source. The unit covers safety requirements such as remote interlock functionality.
