Robotic Production Technology has introduced the FLACS RT C series flexible laser cutting system. Manufactured by Robot-Technology GmbH, the system includes a second-generation 600-W RoboCut A600 robot as well as the support structure, guarding and part-positioning equipment, and robot, laser and ventilation support equipment. The laser robot features suitable path accessibility, a narrow cutting nozzle, and fourth and fifth axes that rotate at 720° and 900° per second, respectively. A high-speed scanning head that replaces the standard nozzle at the fifth axis is available as an option.
