Asylum Research Corp., a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based supplier of atomic force microscopes and scanning probe microscopy equipment, has opened Asylum Research UK Ltd. in Oxford, UK, to distribute and support its AFM products locally and in Ireland. The office is housed in the Oxford Centre for Innovation, along with other science and high-technology businesses. It will be stocked with the company’s full line of the MFP-3D atomic force microscopes.
