Developed by Master Bond Inc., EP62-1MED is a two-component epoxy adhesive system that offers high chemical and temperature resistance and that withstands repeated cycles of steam, ethylene oxide, radiation and chemical sterilization. It cures at temperatures ranging from 150 to 200 °F, contains no solvents or volatiles, and has a 100:10 mix ratio by weight. Shrinkage upon cure is <0.06%. The adhesive accommodates metals, glass, ceramics, wood and most plastics and is available in pint, quart, gallon and 5-gallon kits as well as in gun applicators.
