Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH has released an uncooled 640 × 480-pixel infrared camera module. The IR-TCM 640 is a thermographic microbolometer camera that operates in the 7.5- to 14-μm spectral range at a frame rate of up to 60 Hz and records sequences with high clarity of detail in real time, outputting them to an external image processing system. It integrates into OEM applications via various standard interfaces. The module is used in thermal inspection systems, machine vision environments, space technology systems and military equipment, and is suitable for property monitoring, aerial photography and security applications.
