Providing spectral detection across the full emission range, the compact Leica TCS SPE high-resolution confocal microscope is designed for daily research in laboratories. Available from Leica Microsystems, the device is equipped with four low-noise solid-state lasers with operating wavelengths from 488 to 635 nm, with a 405-nm option available for nuclear staining. Along with a variable motorized pinhole, a motorized beamsplitter and freely tunable spectral detection (430 to 750 nm), it offers multiple export and data transfer functions and enables the analysis of a specimen with up to eight color stainings. It incorporates the company’s advanced correction system technology for optimizing collocalization and transmission.
