Kappa opto-electronics GmbH’s DX 4/40 S 12-bit, megapixel-resolution digital cameras include an internal signature function to provide tamperproof data and to prevent image manipulation. The function signs images together with additional data, such as measuring values, quality assurance and serial number, via electronics that ensure the integrity and authenticity of the image data in applications including traffic engineering, forensics, industrial quality assurance laboratories and pharmaceuticals.
