Laser Photonics Corp. has released a high-power fiber laser cutting system for materials processing. The SBM-1200M multipurpose flat-bed fiber and laser cutting and engraving system can be equipped with up to 3000 W of power and has 51 × 51-in. cutting capability. It has a replaceable nesting basket and can perform N₂ and O₂ gas-assisted cutting under pressures of up to 200 psi. The system can be moved easily and can cut materials ranging from extremely small to as large as 4 × 4 × 1 in.
