Two control cards for lasers and deflection units have been developed by Raylase AG. The RLC-USB and RLC-PCI can be integrated into existing systems, allowing precise synchronization of scanner movement and laser control. A dual-buffer memory enables simultaneous processing of vectors and loading of new ones. The PCI card can be installed on any desktop computer, and the USB version connects to a PC externally via a USB interface. Output intervals to the deflection unit and to the laser are scalable with <1-μs resolution.
