The FWX401D released by Baumer Optronic GmbH is a 4 million pixel matrix FireWire CCD camera that achieves 2048 × 2048-pixel resolution and that transmits up to 10 fps at full resolution. Functions include gain, offset and exposure time settings, as well as binning and region-of-interest readout modes. The trigger and flash interface performs exact synchronization, and the integrated 16-MB image memory provides reliable, high-speed image data transmission, even in multicamera configurations. Developed for industrial use, the camera has a rugged and stable housing and is immune to interference.
