Super Vision International Inc. of Orlando, Fla., will be renamed Nexxus Lighting Inc., and its stock symbol will change from “SUPVA” to “NEXS” this month. The company expected to have relocated its manufacturing and distribution operations to a new facility in Orlando by April 1. It also is scheduled to move its corporate headquarters to Charlotte, N.C., in June. The changes reflect the company’s plan to focus its resources on LED lighting, fiber optic lighting and other emerging “white light” technologies. Initially, Nexxus will serve as the umbrella for the Oasis, Savi and Super Vision brands.
