    • Ambios Technology Inc. of Santa Cruz, Calif., has received an order for 10 of its stylus-type surface profilers from a company in Taiwan. It is the largest purchase of the profilers from a single customer. The value of the sale was not disclosed. The profilers are used to measure film thickness or etch depth on semiconductor or MEMS devices.
