In Pennsylvania, CyOptics Inc. of Breinigsville has signed an agreement to acquire Apogee Photonics Inc. of Allentown, a supplier of laser sources for the 10- and 40-Gb/s markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. CyOptics noted that the acquisition will extend its high-speed source laser capabilities.
