The LFx40 from Dilas Diode Laser Inc. is a line-focus device suitable for materials processing tasks such as plastic welding and surface annealing and recrystallization. The system delivers 400 W of output power at 800 to 980 nm with a line-focus beam profile that is approximately 100 mm long. It features a power supply with an integrated microcontroller and chiller, beam stability of ±2% over 24 h and a focal length of 200 mm.
