A line of streak tube photodetectors developed by Photonis SAS offers ultrahigh speed and very low noise. The P500, P800 and P900 streak tubes achieve spatial and time resolution from nanoseconds down to subpicoseconds. They offer temporal resolution of <1 ps in streak mode. They have high signal-to-noise and shutter ratios as a result of a unique photocathode deposition technique. The streak tubes can be custom-designed for x-ray applications. Streak tubes for ultrahigh-speed camera manufacturers also are offered.
