SPECTROMETER

Princeton-InstrumentsActon.jpgPrinceton Instruments/Acton has released the TriVista CRS confocal Raman spectrometer system with micro- and macrosampling capabilities and with intuitive software that facilitates switching between additive and subtractive modes. The modular system has an optically coupled microscope and/or macro chamber, a high-stability baseplate, a six-position filter wheel and dual spectrometer exits. Multiple detector options, including the company’s scientific-grade CCD cameras and InGaAs arrays, maximize signal detection. More than 100 gratings are available, including a full line of holographic ones. Integration with Olympus upright and inverted microscopes provides spectroscopic data with diffraction-limited spatially resolved accuracy.
