JAI Inc.’s TM-4200 series progressive-scan cameras produce 2048 × 2048-pixel resolution and feature software-selectable operation that allows users to choose dual-tap mode at 15 fps with automatic channel balancing, or single-tap mode at 8 fps. The Kodak KAI-4021 sensor provides 12-bit linear images, or 10-/8-bit ones that can be modified by a user-defined look-up table. The cameras are available in monochrome and color models with a choice of Camera Link or GigE Vision Gigabit Ethernet digital interfaces. Specifications include full-frame shuttering up to 1/16,000s, asynchronous reset, no-delay pulse width control shuttering, a 2× binning mode and defective pixel compensation.
