The Mosir 950 offered by Intevac Inc. is a near-IR image-intensified spectroscopy camera operating between 950 and 1650 nm. Based on proprietary and patented transfer-electron photocathode and electron-bombarded gain technology, the camera delivers low noise gain and high quantum efficiency. The focal plane array has a 4:1 aspect ratio spectroscopy format (1024 × 256, 26 × 26-μm pixel pitch), a 16-bit dynamic range and a USB 2.0 data port. It interfaces to leading spectrometers and microscopes. Thermoelectrically cooled to    –40 °C, the compact camera does not require an external controller.
