The DQ series high-power solid-state diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers have been launched by Rofin-Sinar Laser GmbH for removal, cleaning and insulation of various materials. The Q-switched lasers are available in Standard, Premium and Premium⁺ models, differing in power, pulse energy and equipment. Single- and double-cavity housings are offered, and separate activation of the cavities enables independent operation of two beam sources in the same housing. The Premium and Premium⁺ models have an optical attenuator that supports precise and stable parameter adjustment. Initial pulse rejection is standard on all models and provides constant pulse energy. Variable turn-on time prevents uncontrolled pulse spikes. The beam is carried to the application point by 600-μm (Standard and Premium) and 800-μm fiber optics (Premium⁺).
