DPSS UV LASER
Spectra-Physics, a division of Newport Corp., has developed the high-power Pantera laser. The diode-pumped, solid-state (DPSS) laser uses a fiber amplifier platform to deliver 12 W of stabilized UV power at 355 nm. The device provides picosecond laser pulses at a repetition rate of 80 MHz. It is designed for a variety of OEM applications, including solar cell, flat panel display, printed circuit board and semiconductor manufacturing. The fiber amplifier is powered by fiber-coupled, hermetically sealed diodes.
