Oxxius Inc. has increased the power of its yellow Slim-561 diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers to 100 mW. Based on proprietary alignment-free monolithic resonator technology, the lasers offer low-noise, single-frequency CW operation in an ultracompact footprint. The plug-and-play devices are available with or without collimation optics or in a fiber-coupled version and are compliant with CE and CDRH safety standards. Power stability is ±1% over 8 h, and beam quality is M² ≤1.2. Typical beam divergence is 8 mrad, uncollimated, and 12 mrad, collimated.
