Labsphere Inc. has unveiled the Starter and Choice packages for LED and light source characterization. They incorporate spectrometers, intensity heads, a spectral irradiance receiver, a calibration lamp standard, an LED spatial analyzer and the LightX software platform. The packages perform accurate calibration and fast measurement for research, development and production applications. The CDS 1100 and CDS 2100 CCD array spectrometers offer a choice of spectral ranges in the UV/VIS/NIR. The company says that the electrically cooled, back-thinned illuminated CCD design offers low noise and a high dynamic range.
