The Lw11059 series 11-megapixel CCD cameras have been announced by Lumenera Corp. The cameras offer 4008 × 2672-pixel resolution and onboard processing and do not require a frame grabber. Uncompressed images such as streaming video and still image capture are provided across the USB 2.0 interface, and advanced camera control is available through a software developer’s kit, with sample code available to integrate camera functions into OEM applications quickly. The cameras have a hardware- and software-based synchronization trigger. The Lw11059 model has a Canon bayonet-style lens mount, the Lw11058 has a K-mount and the Lw11057, an F-mount.
