Koheras GmbH has expanded its broadband white light products with the SuperK Compact, a maintenance-free turnkey system that covers the visible to the near-IR, from 500 to 1750 nm and beyond. Average output power is 100 mW, and minimum power density is –20 dBm/nm. The air-cooled pulsed system has a repetition rate of 25 kHz and pulse lengths from 1 to 2 ns, and it delivers single-mode fiber output. It has a synchronization output port and a digital RS-232 interface. It operates over a temperature range of 20 to 30 °C and from a 90- to 240-V supply at 50 to 60 Hz.
