An alliance has been renewed between the Laser Institute of America (LIA) and the US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to continue providing LIA members with laser safety training and education in the industrial and medical workplaces. The organizations will share information on laser regulations and standards, the effects of lasers on the eyes and skin, laser control measures and laser safety program administration.
