L-3 Receives US Marine Corps Contract
Cincinnati Electronics of Mason, Ohio, a subsidiary of L-3 Communications Corp. in New York, has received a $44 million contract to supply its thermal sight systems for the US Marine Corps’ amphibious assault vehicle. The system is designed to provide improved imaging in poor visibility situations resulting from darkness, weather or battlefield obscurants.
