Q-SWITCHED ND:YAG LASER

The Beamtech SGR super-Gaussian resonator series Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers manufactured by
RPMC Lasers Inc. combine variable reflectivity mirror (VRM) technology with an unstable resonator design, resulting in a cavity with a large TEM
00 mode volume for excitation and energy extraction. The user can specify flat-top-hat uniform energy distribution or VRM Gaussian profiles. The close-coupled diffuse pump chamber provides uniform pumping of the laser rod for lasing excitation efficiency and allows for higher stored energy by eliminating parasitic oscillations within the chamber. Operating at 1064, 532, 355 or 266 nm, the compact lasers offer a repetition rate of up to 30 Hz. Beam divergence is ≤
0.5 mrad, energy stability is 2% to 3%, and pulse duration ranges from 6 to 8 ns, or from 8 to 11 ns, depending upon the model.
