Media Cybernetics Inc. has launched its IQbase 2.5 scientific image management software for storing, querying and sharing large numbers of images and related data. Image data can be shared through a network or via the Internet through automatic pdf report templates, by export to PowerPoint tools and through Web-based downloading. Users can search the database via key words or detailed context-sensitive parameters. Images can be explored with tools such as image overlays and annotations, and with quantitative graphs and charts for interactive data analysis. Supported file formats include jpeg, tiff, bmp, Zeiss LSM, Leica LEI and Image-Pro SEQ.
