DIGITAL LIGHT SOURCE
Lexedis Lighting GmbH’s nanoXED is a high-efficiency light source for direct and covert lighting applications. The device features chip-in-silicon technology and Toyoda Gosei’s MQW 600-μm InGaN core emitter in a 2.5 × 2.5 × 0.6-mm package. The size, large aperture-to-package ratio and low thermal resistance relative to size facilitate optical integration. Three standard white temperatures include 3500, 4200 and 6500 K, while color models include blue, green and red. Chromatic binning requirements are eliminated with the use of white photoconversion technology.
