Morgan Electro Ceramics Ltd.’s high-voltage discharge ceramic capacitor features breakdown strength up to 10 kVmm^–1, improved energy density storage of up to 6 JKg^–1 and low dielectric loss. It enables increased energy storage for circuits requiring high peak current and high repetition. With a strontium-titanate-based dielectric material, the component is suitable for systems operating at up to 60,000 V. The improved reliability may be applied to power-pulse applications.
