PROGRESSIVE-SCAN CAMERA
VDS Vosskühler GmbH has introduced the CCD-16000, a 16-megapixel progressive-scan CCD camera based on a 36 × 24-mm interline-transfer sensor. It operates at 2 fps with 4896 × 3264-pixel resolution or at 4 fps with 4896 × 1632. The camera has an RS-644 interface with 12-bit digital LVDS output. It offers an asynchronous shutter up to 1/7000s, adjustable in 144-μs steps. It is supplied in monochrome; a color version with an RGB mosaic filter is available as an option. Pixel size is 7.4 × 7.4 μm, pixel clock is 40 MHz, and exposure time is up to ∼1 s. The camera has an antiblooming circuit and an F-mount lens.
