Ophir-Spiricon Inc.’s focused spot accessory provides direct images and measurements for laser beams at wavelengths from 250 to 1800 nm in real time. Attaching to the front of C-mount CCD cameras, the device achieves the energy density necessary for imaging by attenuating the beam into a focused spot at the camera’s focal plane. Designed for use with the company’s laser beam analyzer profiler software, the device displays the beam profile and quantitative ISO-compliant calculations on the user’s computer screen.
