Luna Technologies’ OVA ELp optical vector analyzer characterizes fiber optic components’ polarization properties for high-speed optical networks. When used with an external tunable laser, the device provides time-domain and filter impulse information and measures insertion loss, polarization-dependent loss, polarization mode dispersion and Jones matrix elements. The device features a wavelength range from 1460 to 1625 nm, 3.2-pm standard resolution and a dynamic range of 60 dB.
