Kurt J. Lesker Co. has introduced the CVF 1000 ultrahigh clean vacuum furnace for degasing and conditioning components that are used inside a vacuum environment. The furnace features a 24 × 30 × 24-in. stainless-steel water-cooled chamber with a hinged front door, thermocouple control with heating to 1000 °C, high-vacuum cryogenic pumping, a molybdenum and Inconel hot zone, full computer control with data logging, recipe-driven procedures with optional chart recording and compatibility with numerous process gases. Applications include heat treating and brazing of metallics or ceramics.
