Burle Electro-Optics Inc. has released the CEM 4899 replacement electron multiplier for the Sciex API-2000 and API-3200 OEM mass spectrometers. The detector can be installed via simple replacement cartridge technology without changes to the hardware or software. The multiplier has no alignment ion optics and uses a 5903 extended-dynamic-range Magnum cartridge that can be purchased separately.
