PixeLink has added a USB 2.0 interface as an option for its machine vision and microscopy cameras for customers who prefer USB as the method of connection or who don’t want to install a FireWire interface in their PCs. Neither option will affect the image quality or overall functionality of the cameras. Programs developed to work with FireWire cameras also will work with the USB 2.0 models. USB 2.0 is now available on the company’s entire line of machine vision and microscopy cameras.
