The fiber optic USB 2.0 X-Tender from Thinklogical extends the interface hub signals up to 500 m over standard duplex multimode fiber. It supports USB 2.0 peripherals as well as USB 1.1 low- and full-speed devices. Comprising two compact units, the transmitter connects to the host computer with a standard USB cable, and the receiver provides four ports for connection of peripheral devices. Installation is plug-and-play, requiring no adjustments, and link performance status is indicated by LEDs.
