DxO Labs has released version 3 of its DxO Analyzer image analysis software, expanding its use to camera phones and digital cameras. Measurements include color, resolution, sharpness, dynamic range, exposure, noise, flash uniformity, distortion, chromatic aberrations and vignetting. The software now works directly on raw images, enabling measurements at the component level, and it complies with all major ISO and industry standards. The image quality of the optics and of the sensor can be assessed separately from the image processing pipe.
