Cedip Infrared Systems has enhanced the performance of its line of Silver infrared cameras with the introduction of a long-life battery and an integrated video screen option. The screen allows users to set up and align experiments when the camera is remote from the computer, and the portable battery pack enables portable infrared experiments where direct access to a PC or electrical power source is not possible. Applications include stress measurement of outdoor structures and nondestructive testing.
