Elmo Co. Ltd.’s 1/4-in. CCD remote head SUV-Cam is a waterproof camera that captures 480 x 420-pixel resolution video that can be viewed on the built-in 2.2-in. LCD display. The system measures 2 1/4 × 4 × 1 1/8 in., weighs 130 g and is housed in a stainless-steel case. The standard 3.8-mm lens achieves 36.5 mm in wide-angle field of view at 35-mm film camera conversion. Cable lengths of either 80 or 140 cm are available. Features include a built-in microphone, external microphone output, USB and AV cables, and a detachable battery pack. It is suitable for underwater, industrial and broadcast imaging applications.
