A benchtop system that rapidly sizes and counts individual nanoscale particles in suspension has been unveiled by NanoSight Ltd. The NanoSight LM20 builds on the LM10 with newly developed software that allows nanoparticles down to 15 nm in size (depending on the material) to be analyzed within a few seconds. The system features a patented laser illumination method that visualizes nanoscale particles on an individual basis moving under Brownian motion.
