The eVision software tools from Euresys SA offer a variety of powerful, flexible and advanced machine vision libraries. The suite can process given-format images available in the host memory, regardless of whether they are from a frame grabber or a standard-link camera. Dedicated interface functions let users link the image to process to eVision objects by providing the relevant parameters. The software performs nested region-of-interest management, 3-D rendering of gray-level and color images, execution time measurement, drawing and error tracing. It accommodates external tiff, bmp and jpg files and is compatible with a variety of Microsoft operating systems as well as with Linux. Applications include object recognition, inspection, measurement and alignment.
