Announced by Lumics GmbH, the LU1000F015 is a continuous-wave air-cooled OEM fiber laser series with 15 W of optical output. It uses proprietary pump laser chip generation with more than 60% electrical-to-optical power conversion efficiency. Packaged in a milled alumina metal housing with an electrical connector interface, it operates at 13 V, typical, with single-mode fiber output. Drive current is 6 A, typical, and operating temperature is from 10 to 35 °C. The housing measures 235 × 225 × 30 mm.
