Imaging Development Systems (IDS) GmbH is offering Linux users a comprehensive software package for its uEye cameras. The package includes a software development kit and an interface for the Linux version of the Halcon image processing library. The kit enables control of all camera parameters and is the same for all 100 models in the series, eliminating the need to reprogram when changing models. The Halcon library offers more than 1100 operators for blob analysis, morphology, pattern matching, metrology, 3-D calibration and binocular stereo.
