Sofradir of Veurey-Voroize, France, has received a multimillion-dollar contract from Raytheon Co. of McKinney, Texas, to supply mercury cadmium telluride infrared detector cooler assemblies to the US Army. The French company expects to make its first deliveries of the night-vision technology later this year.
