EastmanKodak.jpgSuitable for microscope and portrait photography applications, the Kodak KAI-10100 is a 3648 × 2760-pixel interline transfer CCD color image sensor. Available from Eastman Kodak Co., the 10-million-pixel, 22.5-mm-diagonal optical format sensor provides high sensitivity and a dynamic range of 64 dB. The 4.75-μm interlaced pixel architecture provides low noise and electronic shuttering, and hardware color binning supports progressive-scan readouts at several subsampled resolutions (1 × 2, 2 × 2, 4 × 4) for improved sensitivity. Available in standard and engineering grades, the device comes in a clear glass, sealed 32-pin ceramic dual-in-line package, with 0.070 pin spacing.
