The DQ series Q-switched solid-state lasers from Rofin-Sinar Laser GmbH are suitable for applications such as removal of metallic coating from tailored blanks, insulation of solar cell edges and machining of flat screens or activating surfaces. Based on diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers, they are available with one cavity, or with up to two cavities in one housing. The Premium and Premium⁺ models include an optical attenuator that supports precise and stable parameter adjustment. Initial pulse rejection is standard, and variable turn-on time prevents uncontrolled pulse spikes. The beam is carried by fiber optics of 600 μm (Standard and Premium) and 800 μm (Premium⁺). A square fiber is available for surface treatment applications.
