Edmund Optics Inc. has released a line of machine vision cameras with a USB 2.0 interface. The cameras are available in four resolution and speed combinations ranging from 752 × 480 pixels at 87 fps to 2560 × 1920 pixels at 6 fps. Lower-resolution cameras are available in monochrome or color versions, while models with higher resolution are available in color only. Each camera is equipped with a progressive-scan CMOS sensor, software-based exposure control and C-mount lens fittings.
