General Photonics Corp.has announced that all of its instruments now will have general-purpose interface buses (GPIB). With the addition of this capability, the enhanced versions will provide several remote control options, including USB, Ethernet and RS-232 interfaces for most instruments. Control commands and control program interfaces also have been streamlined and made more user-friendly. The instruments cover most aspects of polarization control and measurement.
